Big things come in little pacakges

Allie Seybert...remember this name, because I am certain she will do big things in the future!

Allie is new to our Lake Houston Angel family and has settled in quite nicely over the past month. Adversity, change and setbacks don't stop this little firecracker! Her fight and passion for excellence not only show on the court, but shine bright in her other activities as well.

Most recently, Allie bridged from a “Junior” to a “Cadet” in Girl Scouts. She will start her 7th year in Girl Scouts this fall! As a former Girl Scout, I can attest to such an honor. 7 years of dedication and loyalty to the process and continued growth in courage, confidence, and character is nothing to take lightly.

"One of the most powerful results of living the Girl Scout Law is the ability to exercise and recognize true leadership. Being honest and fair, and courageous and strong; using resources wisely; respecting yourself and others; and making the world a better place." These are values that Allie continually strives to model, and reinforce.

Allie attends RASCO middle school and her leadership skills clearly continue to shine as she completed her 5th grade school year as Class President.  What an honor to be voted in as the voice and trusted representative of her class!

As Class President, Allie directed bake sales and car washes, to raise money to build a sidewalk so that her fellow classmates would not have to walk in the mud across the field to get to school. She and her trusted officers also had new locks installed on the girls’ restroom doors. Great ideas and leadership! Good Job Allie Seybert – we are glad to have you on our “team”!
